Not every charity has the same impact. Fortunately, there is a philosophy and social movement called Effective Altruism (EA)—which inspired the founding of Match for More. EA emphasizes using data and reason to compare options and limited resources to maximize our impact.

A number of EA-aligned organizations within this umbrella movement have already rigorously evaluated a number of charities. The criteria for the highly-effective charities are included below.
